My GPA Life Cycle

As you know that the product life cycle is an important concept in marketing. It describes the stages a product goes through from when it was first thought of until it finally is removed from the market.

The main stages of product life cycle are introduction, growth, maturity and decline.
(product life cycle model)
Next, I use the product life cycle theory to apply with my GPA. Product life cycle is an essential concept for marketing. In each stage of product life cycle, marketing team uses different way to promote the company's products.
Introduction – researching, developing and then launching the product
Growth  – when sales are increasing at their fastest rate
Maturity – sales are near their highest, but the rate of growth is slowing down, e.g. new competitors in market or saturation
Decline – final stage of the cycle, when sales begin to fall
Therefore, from my GPA life cycle, I can apply knowledge from this model by assuming that I am marketing person. If my GPA is in the stage of growth, I will know that I should focus on study in this level because it provides the best result. Moreover, I will put more effort to support my growth or to make it continuously grow. If my GPA is in the maturity stage, I will maintain the level of concentration on study as long as possible to maintain the high GPA. Lastly, if my GPA is in the decline stage, I will put a lot of effort on the next semester and try my best to produce better GPA.
(my grade summary from AU Spark)
However, my GPA is always on decline stage. No matter how much I put effort on study, my GPA is still lower and lower. The reasons may be because of the participation or the presentation score in class. As I am a very shy person so I am very excited when I have the presentation or I have to speak in front of the class so my presentation score is always deducted. I always try to improve myself in this area but it does not work. Another reason is that the nearer to graduate, the more difficult of the subjects I have to take. Therefore, I am not much serious about my GPA like before. In other words, I still try my best to improve my GPA but do not put too much expectation.
